The kitchen carcasses were spray paint finished and the doors had a high gloss, polyester finish – this coat-on-coat application gave both depth and body. Both the sink and the office area in this run of cabinets had pocket doors, folding back and away when the areas were in use. The desire was to have a continuous clean, flush, unbroken, black -paneled wall.
Bookcase: The bookcases occupy the space left and right of the connecting doorway to the hallway in both the living and drawing rooms, reflecting each other. The doors fold back within the paneled lining when open. The bookcases are manufactured in a mixture of veneer and solid American white oak with a dark stain finish
Bed: SRM manufactured the double bed with the cabinets either side of the bed head and a blanket box at the end. All visible surfaces had a spray paint finish.
Sideboard: The storage cabinet was manufactured in MDF with a spray paint finish.
