This piece of furniture was designed to hold a/v equipment as well as support a TV screen on its top. In order that the TV screen could be masked when not in use, simple grooves and stops were used to hold the frame upright. The solid Elm carcass is held on the wall by a concealed split baton and balanced on a central, turned stainless steel leg. The 2 outer sliding panels were “cadisch” woven grills, framed in Oak with the central panel painted black.
